I am thankful for Photography in my life.

November is a time to give thanks and reflect on our lives.  As I write this blog post, I realize I am truly blessed.  Mostly I am grateful for my family and friends.  But I am incredibly thankful for you, my clients, who have supported me over the past two years.  And Yes, Photography is the linchpin to all that I am grateful for.

Photography is central to my life.

I have had a camera for as long as I can remember.  I was always capturing the precious moments in my life;  times with friends, vacations with family, travels, and anything I wanted to remember.  Without a camera, I would not have all the albums and snapshots to look back on. These memories define me, show me what I have experienced and how much I have grown as a person and a photographer.  I am thankful for always having a camera in my life.

I am Grateful for Family

My family supports me fully with all that I endeavor in life.  My Mom is there when I need the hard advice and the encouragement to keep at it.  She is one of the main reasons I had the courage to start my photography business. And My fiance, I am grateful to him back in my life.  I am thankful for him for many reasons, but one of the things I love most is that he indulges me when I ask him to get up early in the morning to capture the sunrise or stop in the middle of a drive to get that perfect shot for my yearly landscape calendar.

I am most thankful for my Daughters.

Maren and Avery have been a true blessing in my life.  They are everything to me. My love of photography has allowed me to capture all the little and significant moments in their lives.  In doing this, they have pushed me to become more honed in creating meaningful and memorable images for them and myself.  I appreciate that they still accommodate me when I need a muse or model. I am sure they are tired of being in front of the camera all the time.  If it were not for them, I would not have realized the joy I get and the passion I have for capturing the true essence of my subjects.

A Big Thank You to My Clients

Of course, my business would be nonexistent without you, my clients.  You all bring such joy into my life. I treasure the time we get to know each other.  It inspires me to capture the true spirit of you and your family.   I love to serve you this way and provide you with images and artwork that you can cherish and smile upon throughout the years.
